Incredibly fast installing my shelf and making my mirror more sturdy. He put in the extra effort to use longer screws for the shelf to make it more secure.

Artur was great. Easy to communicate with and super flexible. He came over to fix my light and when I realized I had ordered the wrong light he was kind and patient about coming back.

Artur did a great job installing my motorized window shades. He was very communicative throughout the process which I appreciated. He provided up front estimates and completed the work well within the allotted time.

A small but much appreciated detail is that he recognized that I’m a shoes-off household and immediately took his shoes off upon entering my home.

I would 100% hire Artur again for small home installation/repair projects!

Lighting fixture replacement in San Francisco | Handyman service Old or outdated light fixtures are very common in San Francisco homes, especially in older buildings. Over time lights can start flickering, making noise, or simply not matching the interior anymore. Sometimes the problem is in the fixture itself, and sometimes the issue comes from old wiring, loose connections, or worn-out mounting hardware. Replacing a light fixture is not always just removing one and installing another. The electrical box has to be secure, the wires must be connected correctly, and the fixture should be mounted straight and safe. In older apartments, boxes are sometimes loose or not designed for heavy lights, so proper installation is important to avoid future problems. Upgrading lights is one of the fastest ways to make the home look newer without a full renovation, and it also improves safety when everything is installed correctly. If you are located in San Francisco, I can help with this. My name is Arthur Astanov, handyman in San Francisco, and I install chandeliers, ceiling lights, wall lights, and replace old fixtures safely and properly.
